Keto Cream Cheese Dessert Dip

Keto Cream Cheese Dessert Dip for Parties - Sweet, Simple, and Crowd-Pleasing

Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings 12 servings

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/3–1/2 cup powdered erythritol or allulose (powdered/superfine blends mix best; adjust to taste)
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of fine sea salt (balances sweetness)
  • Optional add-ins: 1–2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (for chocolate)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest + 1 tsp lemon juice (for a bright twist)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice (for warmth)
  • 2–3 tbsp sugar-free chocolate chips or chopped toasted nuts (for texture)
  • For dipping (keto-friendly): Strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries
  • Sliced cucumber or celery (refreshing with sweet dips)
  • Keto shortbread cookies or almond flour crackers
  • Unsweetened coconut chips
  • Dark chocolate squares (85–90% cocoa), broken into pieces

Instructions

  • Soften the cream cheese: Set it out for 30–45 minutes, or microwave in 10-second bursts until pliable but not warm. Soft cream cheese blends smoother and prevents lumps.
  • Whip the cream: In a cold bowl, beat the heavy cream to soft peaks. This gives the dip lift and a fluffy texture. Set aside.
  • Beat the base: In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sweetener, vanilla, and salt for 1–2 minutes until silky and light. Taste and adjust sweetness.
  • Add flavor (optional): Mix in cocoa, lemon zest, or spices. If adding cocoa, sift it in to avoid clumps.
  • Fold it together: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture in two additions. Keep it airy. Overmixing can deflate the dip.
  • Chill briefly (optional): 20–30 minutes in the fridge helps it set and the flavors meld. Not required, but nice if you have time.
  • Top and serve: Sprinkle with a few sugar-free chocolate chips, grated dark chocolate, or chopped nuts. Serve with your keto-friendly dippers.
